The wheat seed is sown in our fields using traditional and organic methods – free of herbicides and pesticides.
The outdoor environment eliminates mold and the simple sugars that exist when wheatgrass is grown in an indoor environment.
The optimal stage to harvest wheatgrass is just before the jointing stage occurs. Cutting the wheat too early or too late affects the taste and nutritional value.
Once harvested, the wheat is washed, juiced, poured into one-ounce cups, and immediately flash frozen. This keeps the juice alive and maintain all the natural nutritional value.
