🍂 September on the Farm

September 8, 2026 Posted by KC Acres Uncategorized

Happy first day of school! 📚✏️

We hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend and enjoyed those last few days of summer. It’s hard to believe September is already here and another summer is behind us!

Things are still busy around the farm. The days are getting a little shorter, the mornings are getting cooler, and there’s still plenty to keep us busy!

🌾 Second Cut of Hay

We’ve been busy getting our second cut of hay off the fields.

Haying always seems to come with a little bit of a race against the weather. There’s cutting, drying, baling, and then getting all those bales safely into the barn!

It’s a lot of work, but it’s also one of those jobs that reminds us just how much goes into farm life.

We’re very thankful for the family and friends who lend a hand and help us get it all done.

🎃 Pumpkins & Gourds Are Ready!

Our pumpkins and gourds are ready, and they’re available now for pickup at the farm.

Whether you’re decorating your porch, getting ready for Thanksgiving, or just want to add some colour to your home, we’ve got you covered! 🎃

Stop by and pick some up while they’re available.

🦃 Thanksgiving Is Coming!

It may still feel like summer, but here at the farm, we’re already thinking about Thanksgiving!

If you’re planning to have a KC Acres turkey on your Thanksgiving table this year, now is the time to get in touch with us and reserve your turkey.

Our Thanksgiving turkeys are limited, so don’t wait too long to contact us. We’d love to help make sure there’s a KC Acres turkey at your family’s table this Thanksgiving.

🍠 A Few Favourites for the Freezer & Pantry

After a very busy summer, we’re happy to say the freezer is stocked! 🎉

We have lots of your KC Acres favourites available, so if you’ve been waiting to restock your freezer, now is a great time to check out what we have.

And don’t forget about our Beet Bites! Our freeze-dried beets make a simple, crunchy snack and are perfect for lunchboxes, snack drawers, or just grabbing a handful when you want something a little different.

As we head into another season, we want to take a moment to say thank you.

Thank you for supporting our family farm, following along with our busy seasons, sharing our posts, placing orders, and telling your friends and family about KC Acres.

Every order, message, comment, and share means more than you probably realize.

We’re looking forward to the months ahead — and we’re happy to have you along for the ride!

From our family to yours,

Kim & Charlene
